Just got an update from B&H:
"Please be advised that your backorder is estimated to arrive at our warehouse by 07/01. As soon as we receive it in stock we will ship your order to you, and e-mail you with the tracking information. "
What's so special about this soundbar?
It was july 1st a week or so ago. So I am not sure if may 1st is ultimately accurate but they must have gotten SOME info that made them update the site.
I wanted this , but just went with Sonos Playbar.
I'll believe it when I see it. But my wife is getting extremely tired of our aging, slow, and now buggy Nexus player. She was genuinely excited for me to purchase this. I'm really at a loss here trying to keep her in board. And the lack of options is killing me.
Anyone try to contact jbl support about a release date? I pre-ordered it, emailed them twice. Not even an email back with a respectful decline.
Adding to my previous post this is borderline vaporware at this point.

Honestly i was interested a year ago, but this is too late. Everyone who was hyped to get one probably got tired if waiting and got something else.
