Hey folks,

Wondering if anyone has attempted recording OTA channels through the Live Channels app on a Bravia TV. I know this works with the Shield and USB tuner, but curious if smart TVs can handle it as well. And if so, would you use the built-in tuner with an external HDD?

For background, I'm trying to help out someone who already has a Bravia TV and is just looking to record a single program for his wife. I would rather avoid suggesting something like Tablo or HDHomeRun DVR if the TV alone is up for the task. Thanks!
