Looking for the cheapest option

by MajMin5

I'm a broke college kid who loves his Google stuff and I just need a small TV for my room, what's my most affordable option to get something running Android TV? Everything I've seen is either over a thousand dollars or Roku.

Mibox S 4K? I think that's the cheapest Android TV option

You can get a 32" Fire TV here:

It's running a modified version of Android TV. You should be able to sideload apps. I recommend putting Easy Fire Tools on your phone to transfer APKs, as well as buying FireTV Mouse Toggle on Google Play, extracting the APK, and adding it to the TV.

For an affordable Android TV box get the Mi Box S. It runs Android 8.0 and has all the latest app support for Google Cast, Netflix, Spotify, Hulu, Kodi, RetroArch, VLC, X-plore, etc. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Xiaomi-Mi-Box-S-4K-HDR-Android-TV-with-Google-Assistant-Remote-Streaming-Media-Player-now-with-FREE-10-VUDU-CREDIT/677842593

If you want a great affordable 4K smart TV get this with Roku built in: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/tcl-43-class-led-5-series-2160p-smart-4k-uhd-tv-with-hdr-roku-tv/6202780.p?skuId=6202780

You can get a great 32” Vizio TV for about $150 and a Jetstream Android TV box with Oreo 8.1 for $69. Both at Walmart. They work great together.
