Depends entirely on the applications. VPNs aren't usually very CPU-hungry.
Yeah it can. I run an app called Hue Stream to sync lights to my TV and it stays open in the background despite me switching between like 4 or 5 apps after opening it.
I mean if studios dont want to show their shows on my region on the same price as they do on other countries, and i want to watch it anyway - i will but not on Netflix.
Currently have the Mi Box S with ExpressVPN installed (via the Play Store) to access US Netflix. Have not run into any issues so far and streaming with the VPN is smooth.
I use YouTube as well and have not encountered any issues.
Yup, I'm running VPN, an Orientation setter app and either Morpheus or another media streaming app. Some games even preserve their session while I watch something else.
I run openvpn all the time and never had any issue on mine.
Aren't there ways to fake your location? I've read about it, I'm sure. But it's not something I've had to do, so I didn't pay much attention.
Your results using VPN to access Netflix offshore servers may soon be curtailed due to enhanced security on part of Netflix.
Has nothing to do with Mibox....it is a Netflix specific issue.
If you're looking for an android box I would recommend the Amazon Fire TV Stick. I use NordVPN on it, it's easy to set up and I haven’t noticed any issues while using it with Netflix, everything works as you would expect.
