Had the same invisible cursor problem when using a K400 Plus on a Mi Box with Oreo. Never really found a solution and eventually returned it to Walmart amid other issues. Mouse cursor does show up on home screen and in apps when the same K400 Plus is plugged to a Mi Box with Marshmallow and a Shield TV with Oreo. So my guess is it's likely a firmware issue. I suggest you trying a few different mouse/keyboard set. If that still doesn't help, you'll just have to wait for new firmware. Maybe you should also ask Jetstream owners if they run into the same issue.
