As the title suggests I have an issue where my son is watching his shows on Netflix and it will randomly switch to my user profile. Been happening now for a couple of days.
Unable to reinstall app due to it being inbuilt with the tv (designated netflix button on remote).
Tried clearing cache and data. Switching tv on and off.
Please help.

Try uninstalling the app updates, then try watching a show and see if it does the same thing.
Sign out, clear cache restart TV and sign back in. That's what I'd try first.
This actually happens to me on native app from Nvidia shield tv
This has happened to me suddenly this week with my Android TV on a Bravia and my Xbox One as well.. doesn't seem to be an issue with the app itself, wince it has happened to me on 3 devices which I don't believe we're updated recently.. it's switching between my own profile and my daughters randomly on both devices. I assume it's some kind of API or backend issue since I don't think the app was updated on both devices
It was happening to my Bravia, and two different Roku express boxes. Kept switching to the same profile, too.

Happening on my son's Roku Express as well... Must be a Netflix bug...
Apparently, this was a reported issue across many devices. Netflix acknowledged the issue but has yet given an eta on a fix.
This random switching actually causes one or two of my household's TVs to freeze.
Same thing happening here on my Xbox One.
Happening on multiple devices for me.
Happening on my boyfriends Xbox one
No issues here on my Philips TV.
The same thing is happening to me (it always switches to my wife's profile) and it is driving me crazy. I have had the TV for little more than a month and it didn't happen before (only this last week or so).
