Ya you need hdmi
Gearbest had the best prices. If your near the border or can use a port forwarding service, you can buy the mi box S from walmart.com. I did the latter.
That probably wont work. Netflix requires HDCP 2.2 do stream content in HD. There's a good chance of getting a black screen if you get an hdmi - rca adapter.
