I was wondering that if I were to cast, say, YouTube or Netflix to an Android TV box do you get media controls from your remote? Like, does it just open the app if you have it installed? Currently have a Chromecast Ultra and usually prefer to cast to the build in YT app on my TV because of this benefit, and I've been meaning to converge my TV media consumption to a single device, so this feature would be awesome.
When you cast a video (like from netflix or youtube) you can control media playback (pause/play ecc..) from your remote only thing is that normally (at least in most of the apps) when you press back it goes back to the menu.
The thing is that when you cast your not usign the app install but a seperate window, thing is you can still control everything with the remote.
