I'm well aware that I bought a cheaper TV. It's a Sharp/Hisense LC-75Q7570U, for some reason it has been reverting to default HDMI input names and the majority of remote buttons don't function correctly. Even in my phone app, the functions don't do what they're intended. Does anyone know a way to correct this? Even if it's just a way to make the remote function right, any help would be greatly helpful.
Does a factory reset help?
It’s most likely in demo mode. I had a Samsung that did this for the longest time, including reverting color and sound settings. It was very frustrating and I thought there might be an issue with the TV. Turns out it was just on demo mode. Just google on how to remove it from that. It’s probably just in the settings.
Probably the demo mode, should be able to find in settings or factory reset and not enable demo mode during setup..
Is Sharp & Hisense one in the same now?
It may be in demo mode. I don’t know about that tv brand but you could try google how to disable demo mode for that tv
