Just updating my philips 65PUS7803 android 8.0 Oreo update. I have Audio Pro addon six external speakers connected my tv. After that update, volume control not work tv:s remote control anymore. I have been schoose ”close tv:s speaker” option and use external source. But now if i raise up volume tv:s remote control only volume bar raise up but not volume itself. So external speakers not respond at all anymore to tv remote control volume.

Before that oreo update i don have that problem.

I hate now that I updated my 50PUS7303 without checking reddit. I cannot control the f#ing audio volume anymore. If I want it a bit louder or quiter, i have to go to settings. Cannot mute it at all too. My speaker set is connected using 3.5mm to amplifier. I love these speakers and they are really expensive ones, but buying receiver with ARC support is not possible currently for my budget. Its 2019 and there is still no technology to control audio volume with a tv remote??? WTF Philips. My first and last product from this company. I cannot mute my f#ing movie or song if someone calls me or knocks on my door. Havent been this mad for long. Will i really have to trash EUR400 bookshelf speakers and buy crappy microlab because they come with a f#ing remote controller so I dont have to get under my desk and flip amplifiers power switch 5 to 10 times a day?

Did you guys notice any improvements?

SlaughterMachine

Where are you at? I got mine in like September-October.

I kinda think Google has to rethink a bit the launcher, why not have a row below the one with apps for easy access to the inputs, or at least the option to add it.

Seems an improvement. Kodi and Plex play videos smoother

I also have update for my 49PUS8303 😄

Thank you Philips!

Just updated my 55pos9002 as well. Most features seem to workss well. Most Apps start and stop faster now. BUT I had to resolve an issue with Kodi that I want to share: Since the update Kodi didn't properly start anymore. I had 15-20 seconds a black screen before the kodi start screen appeared. The solution was to reapply the network settings in Kodi. Then Kodi needed a restart to apply the new settings. That resolved the issue. Seemed to be some network timeout. Success😅

My 55oled803/12 doesn't have Oreo yet, Philips support said it will get it this month

Updated mine last night and now I have the most annoying crackling audio on my optical out to receiver. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have this update for some months now. And I've noticed (not sure if related to the update) that my TV switches from whatever source I chose to Netflix (if I don't properly "Exit Netflix") or to the TV's main menu (like on the picture attached by the OP) every minute or so, even if there's content playing in the other source (be it TV by antenna, a game on the PlayStation, ...)

Do you know why this is happening? Anyone with the same issue?
