Before oreo update I was able to use my Sony TV remote to control my Mi Box 3. But after oreo update I am unable to use my Sony TV remote to control Mi Box 3. Is there any way to fix this?
My Mi Box 3 is working fine with the Bluetooth remote it came with. No issue there.

I had the same issue as well and it had something to do with HDMI CEC. I had previously disabled it in the actual TV options, once I re-enabled it started working. May also want to check in the Android settings under "HDMI CEC" and make sure it's turned on there as well.
HDMI-CEC is odd. Mine works for some buttons (pause / stop / play) on my 2010 Panasonic TV remote, but to get the directional buttons to work, I have to go to the MiBox input, then back to TV, then back to MiBox again. If the screen hasn't messed up at this point (which sometimes happens when switching away from MiBox and back to it, requiring a MiBox restart), the directional buttons now work.
Have you tried enabling/disabling any of the CEC settings in the MiBox settings to see if that makes a difference for you?
