I used a Beelink S82B with Nova launcher for TV a couple of years ago but having to use keyboard for operation was a deal breaker with wife. We've been using Roku since then. But now I notice Android 8 and 9 - with a usable TV launcher that I couldn't get on Android 4/5.
The big deal for me is website links. I want to use alternative video websites such as DTube, Bitchute, Briteon, Vimeo and so on. Are these easy to add to the menu now?

Why don't you use Puffin web browser available in the Google Play Store for Android TV you can bookmark websites on the web browser home page.
