Whenever I tell Google Assistant on either my phone of Google Home to cast anything to my Bravia Android TV it just says "sorry, something went wrong. Try again later". This has been going on for a few days now - casting from an app without voice works just fine. Have anyone else had this problem?
I have the same problem, casting via assistant to a chromecast works fine, but not to my Philips 55OLED803 Android TV

I haven't been able to pause and resume from Google Assistant (phone/ Home mini) to my Mi Box S also for some reason. It doesn't respond at all - does it do anything for you?
Casting to Android TV is broke currently, I believe they broke it or disabled it to fix the bug where people were able to access other people's photo libraries on through Google home on the Android TV. Feel free to contact Google support to let them know how many people are affected by this and to hopefully get them to expedite the issue.

After the fiasco of Google photos on Android TV cast is broken now for 2 weeks.
Previously from one Android TV (Mi Boxes & Shield TV), Android phone , Android tablet, iPad I could control the others, open close play Spotify, play Netflix cast photos news podcasts. From living room Shield I said play my discover weekly music on dining room mi box and executed. Now sorry try again later. So Assistant become Siri. Even cast devices wasn't discovered. Now steadily the functions return. For example now cast devices are discoverable can cast but assistant is broken heavily. Play music with voice commands from Spotify too. So voice commands to device or to others is broken with Assistant. With the usually time Google takes to fix a problem I'll wait for another month.
