Better Fire Stick Basic or other solution?

by Antigenone

Hi,

i'm evaluating if buy a stick to convert my old TV (1080P) into a smart TV to see netflix film and other streaming app.

What do you suggest?

It's better the Firestick, the chrome cast 3 or other solution?

I read a lot and it seem that firestick seem the most simple way to convert a tv to streaming world.

Your suggestion?

Get the 4k stick and a bluetooth keyboard, love mine and it made me want to keep the stick. I still have the 2nd gen stick, really want that 4k tho. Strongly considering an upgrade.

Get a firestick or if you want more an nvidia shield. Chromecast is useless

For supported streams, The most simple would be the Chromecast, grab your phone, what you see you cast.

But if you want Amazon Prime and a low budget, you have no choice, has to be a firestick

Inb4 all the suggestions to get a shield

Don't buy the basic FireStick buy the 4k FireStick for the extra money you get a much better product. It is more powerful and doesn't buffer as much. I bought a FireStick 4K for the old 1080p led tv upstairs and I'm glad I did.

Get the FireTV Stick 4K - it's much more powerful hardware vs the cheap Android TV OS media players.

Import it if you have to. It's new remote is one of the best on the market.

get the firestick 4k. I have one and I use it here in Asia with no issues.

For me firestick as a huge problem, all the prime video propaganda is just to much. Full of adds.

Roku are good also and they just about have every app. Fire stick doesn't have Google apps like YouTube and Android TV don't have Amazon prime app and the Roku has both. But you can side load apps but it may or may not work.
