If I switch it of in the Google home app I says it can't connect to my TV but all other functions work like casting and volume control. I have a tcl U49P6064 is this a command problem and do you guys know of any fixes ?

Set up a private network to run Android TV anyone not connected to the private network won't be able to connect to the device also set up the device as a private connection don't allow guest connections .
It's been like that for me as well. Ever since Google canceled to voice controls it's not working...
Has been happening on all Android TVs for years. Google doesn't give a shit.
