Same. But it only happens with some devices. Try casting from an Android smartphone. Reason is unknown.
Hi,
I posted this on the r/Chromecast sub and they said I should post it here.
It's a brand new Xiaomi Mi Box S. Does anyone know what's happening?
I tried it all. I've tried different HDMI cables, resetting the device, everything.
Everything else in the Android TV (Netflix, Youtube, Spotify, etc) works flawlessy, the casting is unusable.
From what I get from other redditors this is normal on the Mi Box? If so, it's unbelievable.
Looks like your screen casting so if regular casting doesn't do this it's your phone.
Edit: I just tried the same YouTube video with screen cast, standard casting, and strait from YouTube on my mibox s they all look exactly the same.
You're in the wrong spiderverse!
I have the same issue on my Mibox (non S) and it only affects Chrome Tab/Screen mirroring and not normal casting. It is very annoying though.
It's 3D. U need 3D glasses.
I figured out this has to do with the aspect ratio of the browser you are casting. Make sure you are not in fullscreen with your browser, and make the browser wider or taller and you will see the shifted colors align. Its a crappy work around but there you go. whenever possible use the cast button instead of casting the tab as that method doesnt have that problem.
So this isn't a Google Doodle?
Sameeee brooo
Bad HDMI cable?
Classic Xiaomi problem, they never fixed it in a couple of year. i ditched that sh*t for an nvidia shield.
Yep looks like you're mirroring your screen versus casting
