Hey folks. I am hoping someone might be able to tell me what's going on with the remote pairing with this device. Some time ago the remote simply unpaired and didnt want to be recognized by the mi box. I tried, restarting, resetting, batteries and turning it off. I thought the remote and the box were defective and shelved it.
Out of curiosity I turned it on again and lo and behold it starting working again without having changed anything. I was thrilled but it didnt last as it simply lost the connection and again refused to be seen or paired with the back and circle buttons.
Any idea what's up here?
It's a garbage the box with the kind of problems you find on garbage devices. If this gets fixed something else will break. The only solution I found is to replace it with a shield TV. And yes the remote problem has been around a few months for a lot of people.
By the way don't install the latest update for the mibox. It just bricked mine. Because it's from a garbage company with garbage products.
