Anyone else side loaded amazon video onto their andriod box (mine is a mi s). The video splutters to get going, pic freezes up sometimes and sometimes the video just stops after a while. Damn you google/amazon. Why cant you just be friends ?

Happens to my Phillips TV but only after about 30 minutes of playing. I would guess the videos streams are only optimised for certain hardware and parts of it ended up being decoded in software on other devices. The CPU would eventually overheat and ends up being throttled.
I had the same problem with the latest version 4.12.5 so I just went back to using version 4.11.4 and that works just fine.
I think that it only happens in the latest version of the app. I was trying to get everything updated and installed it on my TV, had to go back to the previous version which is the same but works as it should on the MiBox.
I have v4.2.43 on MiBox . Works without any glitch.
I tried everything. The only version that worked was 4.2.43-nvidia-armv7a. No stuttering, no out of sync.
Any version that allows watching 4K content yet?
