I've been using a standard Chromecast for a while, but i'm looking to upgrade. I'll be using it in my attic where i will set it up with my projector. My eyes caught the Xiaomi Mi TV Box S. Is this box worth it? Are there any others you suggest?

I love my mibox(first one) so much I bought the mibox s as soon as I could for a secondary set up it's great in fact most of the complaint boil down to "why won't this work with my $5000 TV " if you have $5000 for a TV why do you then buy a $50 streamer to connect to it?
The older 2016 Mi Box is actually the best budget Android TV OS box to buy at this present moment because many of bugs have been fixed in its recently updated Firmware vs the newer 2018 Mi Box S.
Then there is the Jetstream Ematic 4K which is better vs the Mi Box S as well.
Otherwise as already suggested the FireTV Stick 4K is great bang for the buck. More powerful vs the budget Android TV OS devices.
Nvidia Shield is the best one to buy, no question.
