Hi folks, looking at going back to the stone age with a box or tv that can run without Wi-Fi and has an ir remote. Has to be able to run with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth off for health reasons. Does anybody know of one? Preferable a current model. Cheers.

None of the current AndroidTV boxes run without either. After setup maybe but then your just limited to playing files off a USB stick but you may need to download VLC to do that.
pretty sure the shield can run with bluetooth wifi off and maybe a usb ir remote?

2016 Mi Box (MDZ-16-AB) has an Infra Red receiver that works with Harmony Programmable Infra Red remotes.
I think the 2018 Mi Box S deleted that IR receiver.
2016 Mi Box has better Oreo FW currently anyway.
USB3 > Gigabit Ethernet adapters (some with extra USB ports) like the popular Ugreen ones can be plugged in to avoid WiFi.
