Plex stream is not smooth. Even in 480p. Regular folder share from my win10pc to the vlc on my MiBox is worse. But i can stream theese files to my Android phone without any problem. What's wrong with my MiBox?

I've been using my Mi Box S as an almost dedicated Plex player (and occasionally for Steam Link) over 5Ghz, and have had no issues whatsoever streaming anything from 300MB SD tv shows to 40GB Blu-ray rips without transcoding. Router is maybe 12-13m away, with a staircase, two walls and a closet in between.
Just as a test, I switched it over to 2.4Ghz, and, while it takes a bit of buffering for the big stuff, it still streams 12-14GB 1080p movies without a problem (again, no transcoding).
Then again, Plex is meant to be adaptive to your bandwidth capabilities, so, if you can't figure it out, just let Plex transcode until you get your WiFi connection sorted out or get a powerline adapter. I managed to stream pretty much everything in my library at 720p while visiting my folks out in the middle of nowhere, and their satellite internet is only a few steps up from dial-up - it's surprising how good a picture Plex can push using under 1Mbps. Your 2.4Ghz connection, no matter how bad it is, should still run circles around that. If not, your have a whole different set of problems to look into.

Mine streams very well. How far is it from your router? Are there walls between your router and the box? Have you tried a wired connection with a rj45 adapter? What kind off speed do you have on your connection?
