I just bought a new tv box to replace my old WD one. After 7 years it was crashing a little too much. I basically only use the thing for Netflix. Is there a way to use the HIMEDIA Q1 without logging into my Google account? That company is too nosy for my liking.
First thing I'll say is that this sub really isn't the place. We only really discuss Android TV devices here, and what you have there runs plain Android, not Android TV. You'll probably have better luck at /r/androidtvboxes.
With that out of the way, I did some googling to see if there was anything I could do to help, and... dude. Please tell me you didn't pay retail for an Android 4.4 device in 2019.
