How to turn on Mi box s without remote.

Question

My remote for my Mi box s broke recently and I can't return it. I was wondering if there was any way I would be able to turn on the mi box without the remote. I can't connect it to an app on my phone because to do that the box would need to be in. Thanks

Can the Mi box not be powered on by CEC when your TV turns on?

Google assistant.  I use that sometimes to turn mine on.
