Do any Android streaming boxes have HDMI input? As in plugging my PS4 into my Android box and choosing which input to use through software or remote.

For various reasons, I've been a little unsatisfied with my PS4 as a media device. It's current upside is that my games and (most) of my media are in one place. I've been thinking an HDMI switcher would be really lovely, as I could have my PS4 and Switch hooked up to it. It would be extra amazing if I could get this HDMI switch in the form of a media box that does way more than my PS4! Unfortunately, I can't really find any details on this feature, any ideas?

You could just do it the legit way and get a home theater receiver. My Sony has 4 HDMI inputs and automatically switches to whatever I wake up (Switch, Nvidia Shield TV, Wii U, PS 4).

Get an AVR.

LG is coming out with a sound bar that does something like this It basically acts as a media receiver with a Google Assistant/ATV overlay on anything you want.

Used to and it was great. Current generation boxes usually don’t .

Caavo is based on AndroidTV and handles HDMI switching exceptionally well. Has tons of "smarts" in it too. I'm pleased with mine. My Sony only has one available 4K/HDR port (the other one has HDMI-ARC and so my Sonos Beam is plugged into it) and I have three devices that are 4K (AppleTV 4K, Xbox One X and PS4 Pro) and the Caavo ties it all together, giving me a nice universal remote. Check it out! https://caavo.com

There is a product in Taiwan called BANDOTT which has an HDMI input and can be switched in the OS (like Sony Android TV)

This product is actually from a team backed by Honghai/Foxconn (the famous OEM company from Taiwan)

Get a proper AVR or an HDMI switch.

Either would be cheaper/easier to find than an Android box with HDMI input, and you know it'll be supported.

I wouldn't trust any Android boxes with HDMI input.

Check out Zidoo brand boxes they are regular Android OS boxes not official Android TV but they do incorparate HDMI pass through so you can do picture in picture and recording functions and so on. Check this

The devices are meant to be plugged into a TV, not each other. Buy a receiver or an HDMI switcher or a TV with more inputs.

You wouldn't ask for a printer to plug your mouse and keyboard into it. You would just get more USB ports via a hub or add-in card.
