I've got an MX Pro android box. Just started a free trial with Now TV purely for GOT later as I want to make sure I can watch with no issues. Play store wouldn't let me add the app so I managed to add apk and signed in no problem but it won't let me play content as it says it won't stream through hdmi. Is there any way I can get Now TV on this box please.
So frustrating as I can watch mostly anything on this box yet it's always the paid for content that has issues!
sky is very strick about apps and devices... and they update frequently the apps to new counter measure
my two cents? now tv has official cast compatibility sell the mx pro and get a chromecast or another device "chromecast like" (mibox s, nvidia shield)

Now TV maxes out at 720p. Think I'm going to cancel my subscription - when I can d/l GoT in higher quality than I can legally stream it, legality losses. Idiots. Give the people what they want at a reasonable price - 720p is a joke.
Now TV app only works on the PS4, Roku, Apple TV. Won't work on a god damn android TV box.
This subreddit is for AndroidTV devices running the official AndroidTV firmware and not for generic Android TV boxes that connect to a television. I would search for your Android box and find another subreddit designed around it.
Edit: Now TV is legit and owned by Sky. I would reach out to them and look at their supported devices.
Now TV seems to be one of these iptv services that's not exactly legal and many of these companies are fly-by-night. I would check some of the various iptv subreddits for support.
