Is anyone able to search Youtube TV with Google Assistant?
The Youtube TV app is installed but not searchable on a 2018 Hisense 55H9E Plus running Android TV 8.0. The app does not even appear in the list of Searchable Apps in Android TV Settings.
It seems odd that Google Assistant on a Google Android TV cannot find content in Google Youtube TV.
I'm still trying to get Spotify to play a damn song on the Shield. Hasn't worked for over a month now.
It works on my Sony Android TV but only with Google Home or mini.
Not from my experience. Every attempt that I have made just returns videos from YouTube, not programs from YouTubeTV.

You mean to invoke google assistant and say the name of a video to be played on YouTube? On my Sony Bravia with Android TV Oreo 8.0 I can press the mic button and say 'show me videos about planet sizes' and then the GA reproduces the videos and othet times show me a list of the videos to pick one
Last I heard there wasn't even an Android TV app for YouTube TV.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Google. Where none of their products want to communicate with one another correctly.
But no, it's not searchable.
