My Mi Box was running out of storage space, so I put a USB drive and migrated all the data to it. But, when I a try to install some app from Google Play, it says I have no storage space. I checked my storage settings and I can see that my Internal shared storage has 4 GB available, and all my data is on my USB drive... Well, I do have storage space, is that a bug or something? Ps: I'm using Android Oreo
Just curious, did you format the drive as internal storage? On my Jetstream box, since it has a micro sd card slot, I just insert the card, format it as internal and for the most part, during the first few days I checked, everything seems to install their by default
I’lol have to double check later when I get home, but Android is pretty good at managing the additional memory expansion if the card is formatted as internal.
Ran into the same issue a few days ago. I'm going to dig to see if I can find the culprit and report back if and when I do.
