I'm not aware of any android TV device with pie/android 9 yet but I would put money that it will be after the shield gets it.

UPDATE: Nvidia Shield got Android TV 9 already. and STILL Mi Box S not yet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am so pissed

It would be lovely suppose Mi Box S update to Pie 9.0, especially you living in countries with a lot internet restriction like Indonesia. We reliance heavily on apps such as Intra and Cloudflare. Would be really helpful using Private DNS in Pie OS.
