TV not showing up my WiFi SSD

Just got my tv yesterday and installed today but unfortunately it doesn't show up my router's SSID. I tried switching it on and off several times. The distance between the router and tv is merely 20 ft with no walls or gigantic structures in between. I tried resetting my tv, restarting it before twice, no effect. All other devices in my home are receiving perfect signals. Attempting to reset my router now and reload the config file for it.

could be your wifi is on 5g but your tv only support 2.4g? or your wifi ssid is set hidden?

Attempt to reset your TV. If the issue persists:

  1. As another user said your TV/Acces Point might be on different bands. Try changing that in the settings (typically 2,4 Vs 5 GHz)

  2. The TVs WIFI Modem/Antenna is broken.

  3. The WIFI modem of your TV is too weak to maintain a stable connection. This happens mostly with cheaper TVs and there is nothing you can do about it if that's the case.
