[Mi TV 3] is the bootloader unlocked by default? Want to use Terminal to install SU

I could not find the info regarding the SW configuration of the Mi TV 3 (the 60" TV with sound bar, I'm Not talking about the Mi box) and whether its Bootloader is locked or not. I have rooted it with the KingRoot app and would like to replace it with SU which requires to use the terminal emulator. If the bootloader is locked I'd risk to brick the TV. Just want to make sure it is not; If you have had experience with it thanks to share it. [Ref. Mi TV stock SW v1.3.33 and stock recovery]

Note : I did already try the direct method with SuperSU app but it didn't work, therefore I'm left with the Terminal emulator method.

If the Mi TV 3 is a Google certified Android TV OS device with Chromecasting baked in, it will have a locked bootloader for sure.
