In our country we are able to get free tv channels over the satellite dish ,is there any tv tuner that might plug on my home server and stream channels over the network to all Android TV ? Before someone recommends a hdhomerun it does not work with satellite and is not available in my country .So is there any way ? On Sony TVs you can set an app as a broadcast source. So if you find an app that could handle this streaming between your server and the Mi Box, this could be possible.
People bash on TVs with inbuilt Android TV for a reason, but with a TV like that, you would just plug the satellite cable into your TV and problem solved.
Also there are Android boxes with tuners.
