How do I connect Mi Box S?

Question

So I bought the Box, plugged HDMI and power in, but it does not seem to boot. White indicator on the front side of the Box works and silents whenever I press a button on remote control, but none of the buttons change anything on TV's screen. Instruction says you have to simply plug everything in, but nothing happens afterwards. I tried to turn on/off Box/TV.

Try a different TV/monitor.

Also you can try a another HDMI port on TV and a different HDMI cable

Probably the hdmi connection, as others have said. Just for the sake of trying everything, plug and unplug the hdmi cable in a number of times to see if the scraping of the electrical connectors cleans up the connection.

I had a problem with a field monitor not working with the Mi Box (S). I attached another Monitor, changed it to 50 hz and the monitor was good to go! :)
