I recently bought an Orion 40SA19FHD Android TV for my girlfriend because it was way cheaper than the equivalent Sony model. She tried to set up HBO GO on it last night and the app stated it is compatible with Sony, Samsung and LG TVs only. Is it possible to install and run the HBO GO app on an incompatible device? Or should we try screencasting instead (the apps I tried so far are also either incompatible with the TV or need another device to work)?
Is this a certified Android TV television? Which Android version is this ?

Hbogo in my country supports chromecast, does your tv have it?it's not as convenient as the app but it gets the job done
