I'm coming from Chromecast with no option to redirect audio. Forgive me if this question is dumb :)
I am wanting to know if when I cast a Youtube video from my android phone can the video go to the monitor attached via HDMI and the audio go to the speaker attached via Aux or Bluetooth (both connected to the outlets on the Mi Box?
When you cast a video (or play anything) on the Mi Box audio and video will go to the HDMI port unless there’s something connected to the combo digital/analog out, then video will go to HDMI and audio to optical (up to Dolby Digital / DTS, no HD formats or DD+) or analog. I don’t think you can output audio via Bluetooth from the Mi Box but I never tried.
