I received my G20 remote yesterday. Plugged the USB receiver into my Shield and the remote was working flawlessly. A couple hours later I decided to try to program the IR power button to turn off the TV. After a few tries I got that to work as well.
Fast forward about an hour later... Now the remote isn't controlling anything. Won't turn the TV on or off...won't control the Shield. Anytime I press a button it just does a slow flash on red light. I tried replacing batteries, and unplugging and replugging the USB dongle. Any other ideas?
I think something wrong with the remote..try to test with another device or maybe windows computer..i saw there is upgrade of G20 in aliexpress (G30)..I have G20 but the major con of G20 that OK key sends an 'ENTER' key instead of 'DPAD_CENTER' which cannot be used with official lean keyboard in Nvidia shield TV but G30 contains (enter) key and (Ok) key so If G30 has both and one works as enter and other key works as DPAD_Center then this will be great alternative remote for shield tv
