What do you mean by torrent ??
The mi box S works fine for me for 4k over WiFi. It has no Ethernet port and only one USB tho.
Just get a Raspberry Pi. It's a lot less convoluted of a solution.
Yeah it just has only one USB so u have to buy a USB hub and as far as lag I mean I don't notice but I play 4k maybe only 2 or 3 times a week order one from Walmart if u don't like it just return it to the store

Check your router many routers have ability to torrent these days you would be better of using that for torrenting and using your android box for consuming media only.
Those boxes have mobile Android on them the only boxes with Android TV on them is the mi box and the jetstream both do 4k my opinion the mi box is better
