In the playstore it says it's not compatible when I browse the app. I side loaded it and I noticed that sometimes the app crashes and also when playing a video, the status bar shows even though it's in full screen.
I like the concept of DVR but I would not pay for it unless it gets polished and full support is added for Android TV
I use it sometimes on my shield. Why would you side load it? It's available directly from the Google play store on the shield. I haven't had any issues with fitzy becides have issues re authenticating my FiOS login. I don't use the dvr but the streams are perfect and the guide is easy to use. I would recommend it.

Strange that it would tell you it's not compatible with your Shield. It shows as compatible with mine. Maybe you should make sure your location services are on and your language is set to US English?

I haven't used that app, but Shield has a DVR built in, although it may only show up if you have a USB or network tuner. It just says Live Channels .
