So iv been experimenting with a couple of things lately in regards to operating systems and it just occurred to me that Chrome OS (cloud ready) can literally run on just about anything. I have tried the OS on some really of pcs and laptops and let me just say I was shocked by its performance. So getting to the point; has any attempted to install Chrome OS on an android box? if so how was it? And if you did pull it off how did you do it?
I wonder if flashing would do the trick for android tv boxes. They all have similar SoC and there are some guides online for how to flash firmwares e.g Android TV Oreo onto those boxes. I suppose it would be possible to flash Chrome OS as well, but I haven't found any Chrome OS firmware file for those. There may be some compatibility issues if you managed to flash Chrome OS on it.
