HDR content from Netflix and Amazon Prime Video will not play when I have a USB mic. connected. Video loads to 24% on Netflix, then hangs there indefinitely. Prime video just won't play. Non-hdr streams play fine.
I've tried different USB mics, same issue. Problem immediately goes away when mic is disconnected.
Strange problem that took awhile to realize a mic being connected is the cause. I have no idea how to fix this. Any help is appreciated.
At any stage have you tried to reboot the TV and try playing back this content right after? Do you also have a Sound bar or AVR connected? Just curious as these specific symptoms sound like what I have been consistently running into and is more related to being connected to an AVR and trying to bitstream multichannel audio. Though I also have a webcam attached purely for the purpose of using the mic so I may have to try disconnecting it and see how it fares.
Trying to use the usb mic for Google assistant as the Harmony remote doesn't have a mic.
