I just switched to Mi box s today from some cheap Android box. On my old box, I can use left mouse click to type, right mouse click to back (my mouse only have 3 buttons). But on Mi box, right mouse click can only chose something on the screen and can't use it to chose letter from on screen keyboard, the left mouse but seems to be doing nothing. Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem? (Sorry for the bad English)
I wanted to ask something similar. So I'll just ask it here. I'm normally in the bedroom using my desktop but my wife wants me to hang out more in the living room with her. I got a Mi Box S as well because I figured I could use it for simple web browsing while also having a new streaming box. But I came across the same problem and it's very irritating.
Basically I'd like to be able to browse by only using the mouse and keyboard and not being forced to use the remote or arrow keys when I type in a link for example. Is this problem due to the on screen keyboard or the browser I'm using. I'm using Puffin right now but I'll switch to Chrome or something else if it can provide a more desktop like experience.
And I know some of you might say I should just buy a PC. I really don't want to though. I just want a simple browser to use in a STB that I can switch to occasionally in the menu like if I were just switching from Netflix to YouTube.
Good luck browsing on a resource limited Android TV Box. You can use a Air Mouse Mini Keyboard remote like a MINIX A2 lite for such activities.
