No issues with the remote here. Are you still using the included batteries? Or have you replaced them yet?

I have one that I just bought but subsequently replaced with the shield. I put the Jetstream at work and have been using it in until I decide what I'm going to do with it.
It stuttered on some of the movies i played on vacation but I think that was hopefully due to the USB 2.0 ports.
Haven't had any issues with the remote but I did replace with good name brand batteries out of the box.
