After update to Pie everything is slow

I just received an update to Android TV Oreo and with it the UI.

Now suddenly when I play a movie in Kodi it's lagging. Not heavily, but it doesn't matter which one and it's noticable.

Also the main menu (which sorry to be so harsh, but is a nightmare and shows, how Google just lacks in the User Interface department) feels more laggy than the previous one.

Am I the only one to experience this?

What device do you own? None of the certified android TV devices have received pie.

Which UI are you referring to?

You are going to have to either clear the caches and settings in Kodi App or do a factory reset of the device.

Are you sure it's Pie? If you have a Sony TV, it's Oreo.
