Not for $700 (if I also want the subwoofer).

Is this such a bad deal? It's like a Google Home Max and Android TV all in one, and it boosts the audio on your TV.

Can anyone more technical tell me if the specs are any good?

Legendary sound from a sound bar huh? Doubt it.

I think the most compelling piece of this is having the Android Tv device as the HDMI switch. It's a bit of a throwback to Google TV in some ways, in that it will allow overlays. Watch something on your cable box, ask the Google Assistant, get an answer as an overlay without leaving live TV...

How well that works is another question.

Except not so much "all the capabilities you know and love" like they claim.

Don't get me wrong, I'm keeping mine. But they shouldn't be misleading. The lack of speaker group functionality is a huge loss.
