I just moved from a Android box to Mi Box S which has the real Android TV O/S. I was using my old Android Box primarily with STBEmulator app. I realized a day after using Mi Box S is that it does not have an IR Sensor, which makes using my Samsung TV remote with CEC turned ON a bit underwhelming. My TV Remote has the Play, Pause, Rewind, Forward and Stop buttons that would work when playing any videos from the VOD section of the STB Emulator. But with Mi Box S remote not having those functions, I am lost on how to pause, forward, rewind any VOD videos. I tried the circular button, but that did not work. Pressing the left or right just increases the internal STBEmulator volume. Up and down don't do anything.

I saw this old Reddit post which is what I might try...remapping the volume key, but wondering if there are any other solutions, since this post is now a year old
