Dolby Atmos Via Android TV Nvidia Shield Device Connected to The Anker Soundbar Soundcore Infinity Pro with Dolby Atmos Built into the Soundbar Connected TO Hisense H8 55in Android TV OS With ULED UHD HDR + 10 and Dolby Vision !

Looking for Feedback on my set-up Choice ?

The problem that I'm having is the TV panel has Android built in but also has Dolby Vision support and HDR uLEd and hdr10.

However I'm not sure how compatible each component is!! to each other because I'm not sure if the features of the TV is only supported with the Android TV built into the TV software or can the full features of the TV be implemented with the Nvidia Shield hardware?

Looking for feedback on best approach to this? I also purchased UHD high-end HDMI cable so we should be good on all corners !

Do you think Dolby Vision would still work with the Nvidia Shield TV even though in video doesn't support it ?

As you can see I'm a bit confused because it doesn't seem like technology as well connected together like they used to be in the past if they were !

I have An Nvidia shield TV / Mi Box S and now the Hisense H8 tv with Android TV plus the Soundbar with dolby Vision.

Kind of glad I didn't get the Soundbar with Android TV built-in I definitely will be confused on how to connect things up. It's a weird world we live in when multiple devices support the same features and technology however they don't interconnect and we have to work to get them connected separately independently.

Again looking for feedback. This is going to be a general discussion not necessarily a question-and-answer type of thread so please just share your thoughts or knowledge or experience an experiences thank you.

Dolby Atmos from a soundbar?

IMO, the TV + soundbar should be your main entertainment setup in the area where you watch the most. The ShieldTV can go in a bedroom with the mi box in a guest bedroom. I hear the Hisense Android TVs work fairly well with storage on the low end and I'm not sure about usb storage capabilities so the Shield TV is always a better option for android TV. I have one and really wanted to get a Hisense to see how I liked AndroidTV built in but I am extremely happy with the Shield TV performance after 1.5 years of daily usage. There aren't many devices out there in the google sphere that have lasted this long and still can be considered the best AndroidTV device even today. I mean you could use the shield TV on this panel and probably without any confusion except with the remote. Let me know how you like the TV! I might pick one up for the bedroom this winter.
