Ultra slow channel scrolling on Youtube for Android TV recently? (Mi Box S)

Do any of you experiencing super slow channels scrolling on Youtube for Android TV recently?

​

I thought it was bugged on the latest version av Youtube. But it seems to affect all version of Youtube for Android TV now.

I've made a short video clip to demonstrate the issue:

It now takes forever to scroll down to your designated channel.

Does it affects Shield TV as well? Or it is only an Mi Box S issue.

Yes, started happening a few weeks back on Shield TV also.

For what it's worth I have the same issue on my Mi Box S but not my Shields.

The slowness has been with all apps though not just youtube however youtube playback also stutters.

My "fix" has been to clear the cache on youtube and other apps I'm using and restart the box. Seems to help a little.
