Edit: also, before blaming this on Android TV (peaked at your other posts) you might tell us which Android TV device you're running Plex on. It might not be the Platform. It might be the hardware or it might be a platform-specific Plex bug.

Is this recently added row or suggestions row?
Mine does this if I have a 1080p & 2160P version of the same movie.
For me personally it has never happened and I have been using Plex for a long time. I usually watch Plex on my Nvidia Shield
I had this happen in the past, and for me it was a server issue and not a Plex client issue. I had specified multiple libraries that both referenced the same folders, in my case “Kids movies” library (used just by my kids profile) referenced c:\kidmovies and then my “Movies” library(used by my main profile in Plex) referenced both c:\movies and c:\kidmovies (for example). So any time I added something to c:\kidmovies it would show up twice in lists like this because it was part of both libraries.
This happens to me too, except not with plex. Think it's an android TV issue. Mine does it with google play movies and others but interestingly enough never plex.
Been happening forever with me. It’s such a small gripe, I know. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Is it possibly server related?
It fixes when I open the Plex app and close it again.
