I received J0722 update for a my H8F this morning. Things I've noticed:
-New boot up screen https://imgur.com/t8dNmME
-Amazon Prime Video comes installed and added to favorites.
-June security patch (still 8.0) https://imgur.com/iU4wy0d . Was February before I believe.

I bought the 50H8F, installed it Monday, and it didn't update OTA, so prime video was missing. I went to the Hisense support page, clicked on chat and told them I wanted a firmware update to add Amazon Prime and get the fixes for HDR. They immediately created a tier 2 case, and by Monday night I had a link to the firmware download (about 1GB). I installed it and saw the Amazon Prime app, plus other changes, including some settings menu changes. Note that after installing new firmware, all content is erased and you start again at the setup wizard, like when you first received the TV.
This morning when I turned on the TV, it prompted me to download a new update to something above J1000, I forget the exact version. Now in the Settings -> About it shows Kernel version 3.18.66, updated October 8th, 2019. Apparently the actual version number of the kernel didn't change as it's the same as in the screenshot by the OP.
All in all I'm happy with the updates and I would encourage everyone to contact Hisense on chat, and ask for a newer firmware version. The update instructions in the firmware email were slightly wrong, as it said to hold down the power button on the remote after turning off the tv, unplugging it, re-plugging it back in, and inserting the USB stick. This didn't seem to do anything, but just going to settings and choosing to update from USB worked.

Does Kodi or VLC read NTFS drives?
Any chance you could get the apk of Prime Video?
Does HiSense have a site to download OTA updates or full system images like Google does?
I'm really disappointed in the performance of my H8F, the internal Chromecast app seems to get killed frequently due to low memory and the only way to cast again is to reboot. It's incredibly annoying.
Having the Prime Video app would certainly help a little.
I'm running the Hisense H9e plus and got the hulu update recently, but no amazon prime video app. Also kodi is now working too, i believe they had kodi blocked initially.
Finally recieved the same update on my 55inch H8F today
Hello! I am a new Hisense 50H8F owner.
I called Hisense to inquire about the Amazon Prime update, and they advised to factory reset the tv, update it, then search for the app on the google store (will try this when I get home). They also mentioned if that did not work, then I need to call them back, and they would send me the update to upload to the tv directly.
Anybody have the Prime APK? Can't get any to work on my 58H6550E.
Hmph, still no update on my 55" H8F. Still on 8.0.0 January patch. Don't know if this still works on newer versions of Android, but tried forcing an update by clearing data from the Google Framework Services, but still no update.
