Bought a 50PUS7504 Philips ambilight t.v. and it's running Android 9. The darn smart Android it has works like a charm except for not omitting the sound. I hooked up my Android box seperetaly and that works like a charm.... What do I do?

In the TV settings you should have two options.
Make sure the tv speakers option is on, and the automatic easylink mode is off.
I assume you mean it's not emitting sound as in no sound comes out? I would try a factory reset. There may be something that has the audio muted.
