Ok, so im trying to get the full google play store on my nvidia shield tv. I have chrome internet installed but I can't seem to get the full google play store. I tried tutorials on youtube but they assume you yalp. Is there a to get the the full gps without yalp? If not, how can i get yalp then the gps?
If you have any Google Play Store showing up (and you should), that's already "the full" GPS. It's just not showing you apps that aren't developed for Android TV. As long as your device identifies itself as such, that's all you'll ever see.
It's easier just to get any "free" app you want from APKmirror and install it from your Chrome Download. After that, it's all on you. Some will work fine, some won't. Chrome and Google Play Books are the only real apps I've had to sideload and they work fine.
If you don't like yalp store, you can try Aurora store. It's the same thing but has better UI.
Why not just sideload the apk?
